Membership Privacy Notice
Who we are
Dunoon Area Alliance was established to bring together organisations, agencies and community members with an interest in the regeneration of our town and area. Membership is free and open to all - community groups, organisations, agencies, businesses and individuals.
Dunoon Area Alliance is supported by SURF Ltd, SURF is a registered charity (no. SC 047 438) and a company limited by guarantee (no. SC 154 598). This privacy notice tells you what data we collect and what we use it for.
What information do we collect?
When you apply to become a DAA member we collect: details about your organisation, and the name, address, phone and email details of the person you nominate to be your DAA Member Contact. For individual members we collect your name, address, phone and email details.
How we use the information?
We will use the DAA Member Contact details to communicate with you about Dunoon Area Alliance meetings, activities and working groups.We automatically register DAA Member Contacts to receive our weekly Member Newsletter – you can unsubscribe from this at any time by contacting us at ann@surf.scot or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the Newsletter.
We will not share your information with any third parties unless we have asked for your consent to do so.
When organisations or individuals cease to be members of SCVO, data is retained for 6 years and then deleted.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information. To submit a request for your data, please contact us by email, post or telephone.
